I had an amazing stay at Hotel Saint Germain in Braila. The value for money was excellent, and my room was beautifully renovated and exceptionally clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the center and also close to the Danube River. The staff at the reception and restaurant were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The hotel breakfast could have been improved with more organized excursions and information about nearby natural sites and beautiful buildings.

The staff at the front desk spoke English, Italian and Romanian, which was really helpful considering how lost I was in this Romanian city. I also loved riding the free bikes around town and relaxing on the terrace. And let's not forget the delicious British food at the restaurant!
Oh, and how could I forget the joy of trying to find a parking spot? It's like a game of hide and seek, but with cars!

The rooms at Hotel Saint Germain are well-equipped with a kitchenette, perfect for preparing your own meals on the go. I loved having a desk and a flat-screen TV in the room, making it easy to both work and relax. The air-conditioning in the rooms was a lifesaver during the hot weather, ensuring a comfortable stay. Free WiFi in the air-conditioned rooms made it easy to stay connected and plan my day. The apartment option with a minibar, cable TV, and kitchenette was a great choice for a longer stay. Having an electric kettle in the room was convenient for making a cup of tea whenever I wanted. The private entrance of the double room added an extra sense of privacy and exclusivity. The view from the double room was absolutely breathtaking. The soundproofing in the twin room ensured a peaceful night's sleep.
Personally, I found one feature to be less appealing: the view. However, I understand that others may still find enjoyment in it.

The rooms at Hotel Saint Germain are amazing! The kitchenette is perfect for making quick meals, and the view from the double room is simply breathtaking. The air conditioning keeps the room cool and comfortable, and the free WiFi is a great bonus. We loved having a desk and a flat-screen TV in the room, making it feel like a home away from home.
The only downside is that the twin room is not soundproof, but it's just a minor inconvenience.
